Wawuhtewikumihk Group Home is a home for mentally and physically challenged adults that operates 24 hours, 365 days a year. We provide home environment to 8 clients.

We are located at far reserve on the Lac La Ronge Indian Reserve. Our main goal is to give our clients a holistic environment to take care of their physical, spiritual, mental and social needs. We aim to assist the clients to be as independent as possible and to make their lives fulfilling. We arrange for them to do volunteer work with the less fortunate.

The clients participate in recreational activities on a daily basis, plus they do gardening and camping in the summer. The client’s menu is set by a nutritionist and included a variety of healthy foods.
